How is Survival of Graft Units Ensured?

As each follicle unit is extracted, it will be placed in a special solution. This solution extends the life of the graft outside the body and will help enhance the survival of the graft once it is inserted.

Newport Hair Clinic uses implanters to help with the placement of each follicle. This will help increase the survival rate of each follicular unit.

It allows for a more precise placement by ensuring accurate direction, depth and angle all reach their correct location.

How Long Does the FUE Procedure Take?

One session can take up to four hours or more. You may have to have three to four sessions to achieve a full head of hair. It will highly depend on the finishing results that you desire.

Is There Scarring?

Using the industry’s most advanced techniques, each follicle is extracted one by one. This eliminates permanent linear scarring from the back of the head (donor site).

This technique also ensures there is minimal discomfort and helps reduce our patient’s downtime. With the use of implanters, we are able to successfully transplant hair follicles and maximize the survival of each graft.
